Dr Charis Teh

Charis is a VCA Mid-Career Fellow at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research. Charis received a BSc from Australian National University (ANU), MPH from University of Sydney and PhD from the ANU. She has developed technical expertise and knowledge in immunology, cancer, cell death, and the mass cytometry technology at laboratories of Prof Garry Nolan (Stanford University), Associate Prof Daniel Gray (WEHI) and Prof Chris Goodnow (ANU). She is currently channeling her efforts to understand the survival and death signals that control immune cells and how this can be harnessed for treatment of infections and cancers. Today, she will share some of her work on Treg cells that has been recently been published in Science Immunology.
