About us
The Melbourne Immunotherapy Network (MIN) was launched in 2016 by University of Melbourne Professors Dale Godfrey, Sharon Lewin and Fabienne Mackay at the Doherty Institute, and Professors Joe Trapani and Professor Ricky Johnstone, from The Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
This network was set-up to harness and combine the immunology and immuno-oncology excellence in the Melbourne area by bringing together researchers across Melbourne to present what’s new in the Immunotherapy related field.
The current committee list holds representatives from a variety of Institutes / Universities across Melbourne including:
- The Doherty Institute at the University of Melbourne
- Royal Melbourne Hospital
- Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre
- St Vincent’s Institute
- The Walter and Eliza Hall Institute
- The Olivia Newton John Cancer Research Institute
- Monash University
The main goal for MIN is to forge stronger collaborative links between the member institutes to enhance interactions between the Immunology and clinical communities. We work towards this goal by providing:
- a regular meeting series
- collaborative opportunities
- public forums, training workshops
- funding opportunities
- a web-based hub for immunotherapy-related studies.
