Prof Ingrid Winship
Ingrid Winship is the Professor of Adult Clinical Genetics at the University of Melbourne, Director of Genetic Medicine at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, and Executive Director of Research of Melbourne Health. She is a clinician researcher, dual trained in clinical genetics and dermatology, with more than 20 year’s experience. She serves on the Board of the Australasian College of Dermatologists and the AGRF, as well as the Peter Doherty Institute Council. She is on the board of the international Global Variome, and a member of the executive management committee for the Melbourne Genomic Health Alliance. She is executive sponsor of business development at Melbourne Health in July 2016, with a view to commercialisation of research; her team has developed the Melbourne Health accelerator (MHx) within the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
